If you can't laze around in August, when can you?
But what are you lazing on? Martin Young at Sitting Spiritually makes beautiful swing-seats and garden benches. Sustainability matters to him (much of his work is in local Dorset oak) and he was recently audited by carbonfootprint.com. Last year he became carbon neutral. His site carries lovely pictures of his work, but you can also see it in situ at times when his garden, Bramble Hayes, Uplyme, Devon is open under the Yellow Book scheme.
If only I had a tree big enough to hang that Rope Swing from it's lovely!

I'm sure trees are shorter than they used to be. Or maybe we're bigger...

I do like to lay about during the summer I must say. I have just bought a nice Garden Furniture set and I plan on relaxing.
